Lovely Way to Spend an Evening is a terrific, 20-track disc that captures Humperdinck on stage in the '60s, delivering a thoroughly entertaining show. Althoguh there's no surprise on the disc, that's sort of the point -- Engelbert delivers exactly what you want to hear with style and flair, and that makes it another fine live album from the crooner.
