Milty Zerostat Gun

Highly rated for its ability to improve the sound quality of records and CDs by removing static. The Zerostat 3 is effective at neutralising static charges on virtually any surface without the need of sprays.

The Zerostat 3 incorporates a unique Piezo Crystal device which generates a positive electrical charge of ions with one gentle squeeze of the trigger, and a negative charge on the release of the trigger so cancelling the charges on the disc.  Each squeeze of the trigger results in a discharge which when stated in units of charge, is 1.5 Coulombs. One can reasonably expect on the order of 10,000 "squeeze cycles" during the lifetime of the Zerostat unit. No batteries or electrical supply required. Static reduction lasts for hours. No polymer residue is left behind.

Constructed from durable hard plastic, it requires no batteries or refills and is a long-lasting alternative to cleaning brushes.

The Zerostat is particularly effective against LPs that, having been played, are reluctant to come up off of the platter without a struggle (and wind up making that crackly sound that means the LP is attracting every piece of dust within a five-mile radius). The solution? At the end of playing a side, simply "zap" the LP with the Zerostat and, voila!, off it comes with no hassle.
The Milty Pro Zerostat 3 is a simple hand held (gun-like) antistatic device. You can use the Milty Pro Zerostat 3 to reduce and eliminate any static charge on vinyl records and LPs that has built-up as a result of normal playback. I think it is important to remove the built-up static charge after playback so that the record does not attract dirt and dust. This will keep the record cleaner which can help with unwanted noise. Using the Milty Pro Zerostat 3 is very simple; just point the nozzle a few inches (50-75 mm) away from the vinyl record while slowly squeezing the trigger and then gently releasing the trigger. The operation should be silent and if you hear any "clicks" you have pulled trigger too swiftly. The short 10 second video below shows how quick and simple the Milty Pro Zerostat 3 is to use.
